Other than a short period in Georgia (which I’d rather forget), I’ve lived in Colorado my entire life. I’ve experienced about as much as a person can from this beautiful state; from growing up on the eastern plains raising a few horses and cattle, to camping every weekend in the Rockies.

I graduated from Colorado State University in 2004 with a BFA in Graphic Design. As an undergrad, I taught a 3d modeling and animation class where I met my future wife, Jamie. The class was pass/fail, but she received an A. 😉

From 2004 to 2008 I worked as an illustrator at The Duck Company, one of the largest companies creating resort/destination apparel (graphic tees). I had the opportunity to explore countless styles of illustration and design whilst refining my processes for streamlined production and printing. I was even able to put my 3D modeling skills to use in visualizing a permanent store in Las Vegas.

In 2008, I made the leap into game development and joined the Jumpgate Evolution team at Netdevil in Louisville. As the project neared completion, the parent company Gazillion shifted priorities and let go the 200+ employees (myself included) while they turned their focus on other projects in 2011. I am immensely proud of the work I produced there – including a huge assortment of spacecraft and stations as well as planets and all manner of science fiction assets.

I joined Endgames Entertainment in 2011 where we worked on numerous mobile games and non-game apps. Being a small team, my duties included all aspects of game art production including concept art & illustration, 3d modeling & animation, particle fx, graphic design, user interface, rendering techniques, and marketing materials. The company reorganized and became Wyrmbyte, LLC. We continued to work on mobile projects, but turned our focus to the PC platform. We’ve released a handful of titles and my skill set has grown immensely as I mastered the Unity3D and Unreal game engines.

I am father to two amazing children. They are a source of endless energy and inspiration.
